Filled with ambitious designs, late nights spent manufacturing, and a line-up that has deemed itself as Sunride’s most advanced rockets ever created to date, Filamentive’s outstanding support as our sponsor has been the reason in making all of this possible. 

We’d like to extend a massive thank you to the Filamentive team, who have provided us with 24 spools of high-quality 3D printer filament. It is this generous sponsorship that has played a crucial role throughout our development cycle – supporting everything from early prototyping to flight-ready hardware.

Essential in the manufacturing of Karman Charlie and Karman Delta, Filamentive’s materials have enabled us to print complex components ranging from nose cones to several avionics bay features, with reliability and precision. Through this support we were allowed to produce test prints of our parts like the Sunfire IV engine (Baldrick) at a full 1:1 scale, giving us the ability to analyse and refine our designs before committing to final manufacture.

The consistency and performance of Filamentive’s filament have made a noticeable difference in our workflow; resulting in reduced number of print failures and increasing our confidence in every component made to go in our rockets. Filamentive’s filament is truly the highest filament quality our team has used and we are incredibly grateful to have access to such dependable materials!
